Strawberry Lemon Granita

Feeds 6; Takes 8 minutes + freezing time (4hr)

Ingredients for Strawberry Lemon Granita

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, quartered
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp white sugar

Method

Blend in a food processor and then press through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

Spread out in a thin layer on a sheet tray.

Place in freezer and mix well with a fork every hour for 4 hours or until set.

Serve with whipped cream and lemon zest. Or…vodka…
