Frosted Forest Martini

Makes 2 Cocktails + lots of simple syrup; Takes 20 min

Ingredients/Method for Rosemary Simple Syrup

  • 3 large sprigs rosemary
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pot and bring to a boil.

Once sugar is completely melted, turn off heat and allow rosemary to steep for 15 min (or up to 2 weeks in the fridge). We understand that you are making these right now, but as time permits, the infusion just gets better the longer it sits. Strain out rosemary when ready to use.

Ingredients for Frosted Forest Martini

  • 4 oz vodka
  • 1 oz rosemary simple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp good vanilla paste
  • 2 tbsp white sugar, divided
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 lemon or lime
  • Ice
  • Edible white glitter (optional)

Method

Chill two martini glasses in freezer.

Divide 2 tbsp of white sugar on 2 plates.

Brush the 2 rosemary sprigs with a bit of the strained simple syrup. Dip them in one plate of sugar and set aside to dry.

Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Pour in vodka, cooled simple syrup and vanilla paste.

Shake vigorously for 20-30 seconds.

Remove martini glasses from freezer and line the rim with lemon or lime. Carefully dip each glass into the other sugared plate to create a sugar rim.

Strain cocktail over both glasses and garnish with sugared rosemary and glitter if using. Serve immediately and often.
